Terex Lifting Australia is the largest mobile crane manufacturer and supplier in Australia with their regional manufacturing facility based in Eagle Farm. Over the last two years they have engaged in successful continuous improvement initiatives together with a review of Terex group operations across Australia. This role will be actively engaged on a day to day basis in leading and setting the HSE strategy and coordination across group operations for over 200 employees including Terex Fantuzzi, Terex Jacques and Terex ASV.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working closely with group General Managers and other key operations stakeholders you will be a member of the management group with full accountability for all HSE strategy and operational effectiveness ensuring Terex strives to exceed best practice.

Your responsibilities will include embracing and living the safety culture and shaping behaviour across the Terex group, ensuring compliance for all policy, procedures and task instructions, leading operational and regulatory compliance and developing, implementing and reviewing audit programs.

It is essential that you are a proven leader in HSE with a career history of achievement, shaping behaviour and partnering with management teams. You will be able to demonstrate outstanding communication skills and an ability to coach, mentor and develop a safety culture. You will have tertiary qualifications which are enhanced through your career experience.
