This Australian organisation is a market leader with offices in over 70 locations across Australia & New Zealand. Originally offering a core service of rental equipment, the company has grown to offer multi-faceted site security services and products including but not limited to temporary fencing, video solar surveillance and lighting as well as height safety. The organisation services an impressive range of clients from the mining, civil, residential, government, industrial, commercial, maintenance and events sectors. Due to rapid expansion of the company, a strategic and experienced BDM is now required to further elevate the company’s success in the site safety and security division. The BDM will report directly to the National BDM. The primary purpose of the role will be to drive new sales by leveraging existing and new clients to exceed revenue and profitability targets across the region.  This critical role will be fully supported by a highly experienced and agile team.

The role will be broadly responsible for: managing the complete sales cycle, coordinating tenders and quotes, developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with key stakeholders and
partnering with customers to identify innovative and tailored solutions to ensure maximum client satisfaction and retention. The BDM will also need to familiarise with the company’s impressive range of locally manufactured products and services.

To be considered as the preferred candidate for this role, your career will encompass extensive experience in strategic level selling to a diverse range of clientele and a proven track record in providing excellent customer service. You will also be results driven, possess a strong commercial sales acumen, computer literate and possess strong negotiation skills. Ideally, you will have exposure to the industrial/equipment rental market specifically in the security, construction or mining sectors. You will hold relevant qualifications or have attended certified and related training classes over the course of your career. In order to ‘hit the ground running’ the BDM will join the company with an existing network of contacts from relevant industries.
