Untitled document Port Waratah Coal Services has an opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join the Human Resources team. Reporting to the Manager Human Resources the Senior HRBP will serve as a consultant to their designated business teams on employee related matters and will support the Manager Human Resources in the development, implementation and evolution of the People Strategy at Port Waratah.

As a Senior HRBP, you will assess and anticipate HR related needs, and through collaborative partnerships across the organisation deliver value add service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives. Key responsibilities include interpreting HR policies and employment legislation, advise on risk management and coach and support managers in handling people management, industrial relations and change processes. You will also identify new ways of working and empowering approaches to people management, employee engagement initiatives and employee lifecycle activities. As a Senior HRBP, you will provide professional, strategic and operational advice, support continuous improvement and actively promote cultural change.

As the successful applicant, you will have tertiary qualifications in HR/IR and have proven senior level experience in an industrial environment as a HR Generalist and/or Business Partner. You will be able to demonstrate superior analytical skills, excellent negotiation and communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication.
