Youth Focus is a Western Australian community based, not-for-profit organisation with expertise in providing practical and effective support for young people aged between 12 to 18 years of age and their families, who are showing early signs associated with suicide, depression and self harm.

Due to continued organisational growth this senior management position will play a critical leadership role in the future development of Youth Focus, with responsibility over the expanding Youth and Family Services Division. This role will work closely with the CEO and other members of the senior management team to improve the effectiveness of the organisation and its people. The role will lead and manage a team of counsellors and health professionals, as well as contribute to effective service delivery outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a solid track record as a senior manager within the health sector and a demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and coordinate allied health professionals in a multi-disciplinary organisation. You will have excellent conceptual and analytical skills, be a strong communicator and have an ability to manage complex and sensitive issues in relation to young people and their needs. Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Psychology or Social Work are essential and further studies in business administration will be highly regarded.
