Reporting to the Director - Engineering & Works, this role offers the ability to influence the strategic management and growth of this diverse community, by supporting sustainable initiatives and projects in the natural and built environments. With the goal of making Cockburn the Most Attractive Place to Live, Work and Visit this integral role will have the opportunity to lead a diverse and talented group of professionals and to make a real difference to the future development of the City. Interested candidates will possess excellent technical skills, the ability to lead by example, show initiative and be innovative and inspirational. Additional skills required include sound problem solving, research and analysis capacity, highly developed oral and written literacy and numeracy skills, and knowledge of financial management practices. A tertiary qualification in Business Management - Horticultural, Landscape Architecture or equivalent are essential in this role.
