Atlas Iron is an ASX listed dynamic junior iron ore producer, exporting 1 million tonnes of ore per annum from its Pardoo Operations. This is scheduled to grow to 6 million tonnes per annum in 2010 with additional export tonnage from Wodgina. Atlas Iron plans to increase production twelvefold by the end of 2012. The Company has a strong pipeline of quality resource projects which will underpin rapid growth in the Pilbara, backed up by an experienced and passionate technical team. Atlas Iron has an extensive portfolio of projects covering an area of over 15,000km² in the northeast Pilbara, the Newman area and the Midwest of Western Australia. Atlas continues to be one of the most aggressive explorers in the state, a strategy which has led to rapid growth in the company’s resource inventory through a series of outstanding exploration successes.

Due to the company’s expanding operations and continued growth the Chief Commercial Officer is looking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager with a ‘can-do’ attitude to whom he can delegate the day to day running and development of the company’s finance function, based at its West Perth head office.

A qualified CPA or Chartered Accountant you will have a strong work ethic and an informal management style, and will posses a high level of technical accounting skills, in addition to extensive experience in statutory reporting and compliance. A background in a leading accounting firm and/or mining sector experience will be highly regarded.
