BC Iron Nullagine Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of BC Iron Limited which is an emerging Iron Ore producer focused on Western Australia’s world-class Pilbara region. The company’s core asset is the Nullagine Iron Ore Joint Venture (NIOP) - a direct shipping Iron Ore deposit operated by BC Iron Nullagine. The Joint Venture is between BC Iron and FMG. The project currently hosts Ore Reserves of 36 million tonnes at 57% Fe (65% CaFe) and the recent trial mining test pit confirmed the technical assumptions of the Feasibility Study completed in July 2009. The Joint Venture has a Rail Haulage and Port Services agreement with TPI (100% subsidiary of FMG), which provides the infrastructure, required to bring this deposit to market. With funding and offtake secured, BC Iron is on track to become Australia’s newest iron ore producer in 2010 and is now looking to develop the team to make this happen.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for managing all of the project’s major construction contracts which include the accommodation village, a 55 kilometre private haul road joining the mine to FMG’s rail infrastructure and Mine Operations Centre. Previous experience in managing similar construction contracts on site is required. In return you will receive a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to join a rapidly developing miner. This is a FIFO role and will initially be a 12 month contract although it could develop into a more permanent site role.
