This independently owned Australian business has been experiencing strong growth within its sector of industrial services/equipment hire. The company prides itself on providing its customers with exceptional service and competitive pricing. Through successful strategies it has now grown to operating in QLD, NSW and VIC, with plans to expand further. An opportunity has arisen for a Chief Executive Officer to join the company and lead the organisation through this period of substantial growth and expansion to meet the demands of key clients and market segments.

This Chief Executive Officer role presents as an outstanding opportunity, reporting to the board, and leading the Executive Leadership Team in growing sales and increasing the company’s market share.

The CEO will take full P & L responsibility for the business and develop and implement high-quality, successful strategies to achieve the strategic goals of the business. This role will lead and drive all strategic and business aspects of the company and as well as create a vision for success. You will develop a unique culture of growth, champion a customer-centric mentality and environment by creating a passion for success and growth amongst staff through clear communication of the company vision and strategy. Throughout your background you will have been a part of organisations that were experiencing rapid expansion, and you will have been involved in making strategies and business plans to capitalise on this strong growth. You will understand what contributes to making a company expand its market share and solidify its place as a major competitor in the industry.

To be successful in the role you will have a strong background in the industrial services / equipment hire segment at a senior level, and understand the markets well. You will have demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful strategy and direction, and leading successful growth and change. Demonstrated ability to lead a group of people (>150ppl), develop a positive culture of success and growth and lead from the front. A strong understanding of financial reporting and measures would be desirable. Overall you will be a personable, numbers-driven leader with an ambitious, growth orientated mindset.
