This global business is a leader across automotive, commercial vehicle and off-highway industry segments such as the defense, truck, bus, rail, marine and industrial sectors. Independent aftermarket parts include transmissions, axles, clutches, shock absorbers, steering, suspensions systems, chassis, brakes etc. Their portfolio of products is vast and the quality is impeccable. Due to market and strategic planning initiatives, the business is experiencing strong and sustained growth across the region. It now requires an experienced Sales Representative, preferably based in Brisbane with the technical knowledge to grow sales within their two major key accounts.

The role:
The role has tremendous growth opportunity and you will take responsibility of managing 2 key accounts in the region of Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. You will be a dedicated resource to the accounts so it will be vital you partner with the key account stakeholders and build the relationship with them.

The purpose of the role is to drive sales within these 2 key accounts across the region, which is done by:

-    Promoting the product range within their distribution network.
-    Building knowledge of the company’s products with the sales staff so they can confidently recommend them in-store.
-    Store visits to build the company brand.
The right person:
-    You will be a technically minded individual with experience in sales.
-    You will be able to talk to industry experts confidently about the company’s products and their benefits.
-    Ideally you will come from an automotive industry background and have experience dealing with automotive parts like brakes, suspension and/or steering components etc.
-    You will also require you to attend tradeshows and promote the benefits of the products.
-    Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be working from home office so it is essential to have excellent MS Office and reporting skills.
-    You should be open to travel approximately every second week away.
