Regional Strategy and Performance Manager

This international building and construction service and supply business operates in over 20 countries. It is a well established and highly respected company renowned for its innovation and forms part of a global diversified construction and support services group. It is a leading provider of equipment and associated systems and solutions to both construction and industry and is a supplier for many major civil infrastructure, construction, mining, petrochemical, and industrial engineering projects. This business now requires an experienced Regional Strategy and Performance Manager to continue the profitable expansion of the business.

The Regional Strategy and Performance Manager will be responsible for supporting the company’s expansion plan throughout the APAC region, and will be an integral part of the APAC Regional Management team. This will be done through accurate analysis of data and synthesis into agreed and prioritised actions, including building the merger and acquisition pipeline. It will be responsible for monitoring and analysing the competitor environment, and developing strategies to drive revenue and profitably operate and expand within it. Additional key responsibilities will include; ownership and preparation of strategic business updates for senior management reviews, leadership of the annual business planning process supporting various country submissions and creating a regional view, provision of prioritised analytical support to operating countries and ensuring marketing activity is aligned to product strategies and geographic expansion.

To be successful in the role you will need to have strong multinational experience of working in the Consulting, Finance or Engineering Construction sector in a similar role such as Merger and Acquisition, Corporate Development, Corporate Finance or Corporate Strategy Manager. You will have strong financial modelling and analysis skills, and be adept at interpreting large data sets and reaching sound conclusions from it. With outstanding commercial acumen you must be comfortable and competent communicating with a broad range of stakeholders including at Board Level. It would be expected you are suitably degree qualified in Business, Economics, or Engineering, and an MBA or Masters would be highly desirable.

The role’s location is flexible and can be based in either Hong Kong or Australia. There will be travel as required within the APAC region.
