State Sales Manager - Vic/SA/TAS

It is a leader in the under-vehicle and under-bonnet hard parts industry including suspension, drivetrain, braking, fuel systems, accessories and related solutions. Through the effective implementation of strategic growth, acquisitions and business improvement initiatives this business commands significant market share in its sector and now requires a dynamic, strategic thinking State Sales Manager to drive the ongoing success of the business in the region.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, based in NSW, you will take full P&L responsibility and lead and develop a close knit and experienced team across three branches in Victoria and South Australia. Commercially astute, autonomous and highly motivated, you will drive profitability, growth and return on investment through leading sales, business development and marketing initiatives. This will be achieved through actively building awareness of market, customer and competitor dynamics as well as communicating relevant issues with key stakeholders at national office and collaborating on the development of strategic plans, whilst adhering to company policy and direction.

Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to work in a hands-on environment. Preferably tertiary qualified, you will demonstrate competencies in preparing, implementing, and monitoring sales plans, strategies and budgets and mentoring, developing and motivating your team. You will create success through encouraging innovation, proactive thinking and by collaborating effectively in the strategic development of existing accounts and winning substantial new business opportunities
