Manager Assets and Infrastructure

Port Waratah Coal Services is the world’s largest coal export terminal. Our terminal services at Kooragang and Carrington underpin the activities of the Hunter Valley Coal Chain, connecting Hunter Valley coal with the world. We foster a culture of engagement and recognise the contributions our people make to the success of our business and the local region.

We have recently completed a review of our operations leadership structure to build on past successes and transition to a new era of aligning our teams to deliver for our customers.  This means we have created new leadership roles for the right people who can demonstrate their ability to lead and develop people through change and build effective team interfaces, while pursuing continuous improvement.

In this newly created leadership role, the Manager Assets and Infrastructure will be responsible for the leadership and development of the Asset and Infrastructure Services Strategy and capital project delivery at Port Waratah. You will work closely with the operational leadership team to support our terminal’s strategic asset and reliability requirements and lead the delivery of Port Waratah’s capital and major projects portfolio.

We are looking for strong leadership and engagement capabilities and a proven track record in building leadership capability and improving engagement in a heavy industry environment across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will develop the Assets & Infrastructure people engagement strategy and apply change management principles in the creation of a “one team” and service orientated team culture focusing on communication, collaboration and consistency across the business. You will have relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business or related discipline.

This role attracts a generous and competitive remuneration package.
